3/5/2019 0 Comments Notebook (2019) Movie ReviewSuggested by my roommate to watch the trailer of “Notebook”, a Bollywood romance drama film, I learnt that it is an official remake of a Thai film, “A Teacher’s Diary.” And then I decided to go for the movie.
It is based on the innocent love story that was stuck secretly within the pages of a school book. The story of the movie revolves around the life of ‘Kabir who is the ex-army man and joins an isolated boat-school as a teacher in Kashmir. There he stumbles upon a notebook which the previous teacher Firdaus used to pen down her emotions. As Kabir begins reading the notebook, he finds himself slowly falling in love with Firdaus with her personal stories as a balm to heal his past.' Will Kabir & Firdaus ever meet in person?
